Founded in 1884, the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music prepares students for successful careers in the 21st century. We are unique among our peers in the sheer diversity of music that is taught, all at the highest levels.
Admission - USC Thornton School of Music. Fall application deadline for all applicants: December 1, 2023. The only programs with different application deadlines are “Arts Leadership” and “Popular Music Teaching and Learning” (May 1 final application deadline) and all Thornton minors (October 1, 2023 and March 1, 2024).
