  2. Welcome to N. Zahles Gymnasium. We are a private upper secondary school situated in the centre of Copenhagen, right next to Nørreport Station. We have 390 students across five lines of study, ranging from science to languages and social studies.

  3. Career. In 1852, she founded the N. Zahle's School ( N. Zahles Skole ). Her school became a famous pioneer educational institution. Known as a well-organized person, she expanded the school from 25 students in 1852 to 200 in 1862, and was known for her selection of teachers. Many famous individuals were teachers or students there.

  7. Henriette Skram (28 September 1841, Copenhagen — 10 November 1929) was a Danish school teacher. After joining N. Zahle's School as a pupil in 1853, from 1866 she taught there, developing a special interest in English and history.
