Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 (often shorted to 'Thinking Fellers' or 'TFUL282') was an American indie rock band, which was formed in 1986 in San Francisco, California though half of its members are from Iowa.
The core group of Brian Hageman (guitar, mandolin, other instruments), Mark Davies (guitar, banjo, other instruments), Hugh Swarts (guitar), and Anne Eickelberg (bass) has been together since the beginning, originally with Paul Bergmann and later with Jay Paget on drums; everybody sings.
