Puddle of Mudd was formed in 1992 in Kansas City by Wes Scantlin (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Jimmy Allen (lead guitar), Sean Sammon (bass), and Kenny Burkitt (drums).
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Kenny joined forces with guitarist Jimmy Allen to form one of the coolest rock bands of all time: Puddle of Mudd! He is very passionate about his music and a great teacher in every aspect of life. Check out "Stuck" and "Abrasive" to hear this amazingly talented drummer.

Kenny Burkitt, Jimmy Allen, Wesley Scantlin, Sean Sammon The Originals are easily the most talented version of the band as well as the most beautiful and kind-hearted. Sean (the original bassist) was the first person I talked to, after finding out that he was the person who was selling the old Puddle of Mudd shirt on eBay.

3 feb 2023 · See, the Puddle of Mudd that received airplay and played for massive audiences was not the first, Kansas City one. In fact, the original lineup of Scantlin, Jimmy Allen, Sean Sammon, and Kenny Burkitt (a group that was locally popular but prone to infighting) broke up two years before the major label opportunity came knocking.
