Toshiko Akiyoshi (秋吉敏子 or 穐吉敏子, Akiyoshi Toshiko, born 12 December 1929) is an American jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and bandleader. Akiyoshi received fourteen Grammy Award nominations and was the first woman to win Best Arranger and Composer awards in Down Beat magazine's annual Readers' Poll.

Toshiko Akiyoshi (in giapponese 秋吉 敏子; Liaoyang, 12 dicembre 1929) è una compositrice, pianista e bandleader giapponese. Ha ricevuto quattordici nomination ai Grammy Award ed è stata la prima donna a vincere il premio come "miglior arrangiatore e compositore dell'anno" conferito dalla rivista Down Beat . [1]
