Derrick William Plourde (October 17, 1971 – March 30, 2005) was an American drummer, musician and artist. Born in Goleta, California, he was active from 1989 until his death in 2005.

Kris Roe of the Ataris has posted that drummer Derrick Plourde, formerly of the Ataris, Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, RKL and Mad Caddies shot and killed himself on March 30th.
