John Beaufort, in inglese John Beaufort, 1st Earl of Somerset (Montmorency-Beaufort, 1373 circa – Londra, 16 marzo 1410), fu conte di Somerset, dal 1397 alla sua morte, e marchese di Dorset, dal 1397 al 1399; fu inoltre membro del casato reale britannico di Lancaster.
Il titolo comitale fu conferito da Riccardo II (1397) a John Beaufort (1373-1410), figlio illegittimo di John di Gaunt duca di Lancaster, e passò ai suoi tre figli Henry (m. 1418), John (1404-1444), che nel 1443 diventerà duca di S., ed Edmund Beaufort (v.).
