I just started Parts Unknown, and episode 5 of season 1 (Morocco) has a pretty jammin beat around the middle of the episode. In case anybody is wondering, that song is called "Dreams without Humans" by Kingdom 2.
2002's Parts Unknown was based on previously unreleased material and was a collaborative album with the rapper Sensational. The second Quatermass album was Retrospectre (2004) compilation. Dusted magazine's Casey Rae-Hunter noted the album's "captivating freshness", despite it spanning more than a decade's worth of material.
Michael Ruffino has been making music for television and film since 2005, for Anthony Bourdain in particular. He is a member of The Unband, and has chronicled escapades thereof in the rock memoir, Adios, Motherfucker: A Gentleman’s Progress Through Rock and Roll (Bourdain Books/Ecco, 2017).
