My Friends is a studio album by The Wailers Band, a reggae band. It was released in 1997 under the Melting Pop label. Tracks. In addition to these three studio albums, a live album consisting of live performances of the band between the years of 1995 and 1997 was released as My Friends in 1997. Junior Marvin departed the band to pursue solo work after this album and what was described as a disappointing 1997 tour.

Bob Marley and the Wailers (previously known as The Wailers and prior to that The Wailing Rudeboys, The Wailing Wailers and The Teenagers) were a Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae band. The founding members, in 1963, were Bob Marley (Robert Nesta Marley), Peter Tosh (Winston Hubert McIntosh), and Bunny Wailer (Neville Livingston).
