  2. The Hall School is an independent boys' preparatory school in Belsize Park, Hampstead, north London, currently teaching boys from age 4 to age 13. Description. The school, across its three buildings, a new one being built currently, has a roll of over 432 boys, approximately 60 in each year from Years 1–8 and 40 in Reception.

  4. Academic Achievement. At the end of Year 8 our boys leave us to move on to a range of very good senior schools. The majority of the boys will move on to a London day school; around twenty to twenty-five boys commonly join St Paul’s and Westminster each year.

    The current non-refundable fee that should accompany a Registration Form for application to The Hall is £100. This may be paid by cheque (payable to The Hall School Charitable Trust) or by bank transfer. In both cases please include a reference to your son’s full nameso that we can match up the completed Registration form to the payment. Thank you.

    An Acceptance Depositof £2,000 will be required when the Parent Contract is signed, to confirm acceptance of the place.   5. The Hall School traces its roots back to 1889 when the Reverend Francis Wrottesley set up his own school, primarily to educate his own growing family of boys. He took in other paying pupils and so the Belsize School for Boys was born.

  6. The Hall School, Hampstead is an independent prep day school for boys between the ages of 4 and 13 years. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has an academically selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school.
