Ellen Whitaker (born 5 March 1986) is an English show jumping rider, [1] currently ranked 191 on the FEI riders Longines Ranking list in July 2022. [2] [citation needed] Career. Competing since the age of 5, Whitaker has had much experience in the equestrian world and qualified for HOYS aged 8 years. [3]
Ellen is one of the most recognised names in the world of equestrianism. She is a member of the world-famous Whitaker dynasty, fitting in the family tree as the eldest daughter of Carole and Steven Whitaker.

Ellen is a big tennis fan, and used to play a lot as a child and teenager. She's a big fan of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, three completely different players with inspiring stories behind their success. Roger Federer’s classic style and elegance as a player is beautiful to watch.

Today Ellen told us she was delighted with the mare and she ‘only started to ride the her last autumn’ but they were immediately jumping clear and won three classes in a row, going from 135 to 145m.
