The Divine Horsemen’s first outing, “Time Stands Still,” was an acoustic album of gothic-American murder ballads and folked-up rock on Enigma Records, studded with a who’s-who of LA post-punk: Texacala Jones, Jeffrey Lee Pierce, Kid Congo Powers, John Doe, Dave Alvin, Dan Stuart, and others.
Jeffrey Lee Pierce (June 27, 1958 – March 31, 1996) was an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and author. He was one of the founding members of the band The Gun Club, and released material as a solo artist.

Formed in 1979 and based around the core of frontman Jeffrey Lee Pierce, The Gun Club drew deeply from the well of American vernacular music and infused it with the stripped down energy and elemental values of punk rock.
Creeping Ritual Productions was formed June 27th 2007, not only as a tribute website to the late Jeffrey Lee Pierce but most importantly it’s main purpose is to archive and protect the legendary memory of this rock and roll samurai.
