Tristeza on Guitar ist ein Jazzalbum des brasilianischen Gitarristen Baden Powell. Die am 1. Juni 1966 im Studio Riosom S/A und am 2. Juni 1966 im Studio Atonal Ltda. entstandenen Aufnahmen erschienen 1966 bei Saba.
Baden Powell de Aquino (Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈbadẽ ˈpawew]; 6 August 1937 – 26 September 2000), known professionally as Baden Powell, was a Brazilian guitarist. He combined classical techniques with popular harmony and swing. He performed in many styles, including bossa nova, samba, Brazilian jazz, Latin jazz and MPB.

The Tristeza on Guitar is a must for every Baden Powell collection. Finding the original pressing might get difficult for collectors and BP-friends because there were used the same SABA numbers. There exist a rare German CD version from 1990 and a Japanese pressing from 1999, which has a more brilliant sound.
