- La famiglia si stupì che volesse fare il cantante. Tina Hutchence, la sorellastra di Michael, racconta che, nel periodo in cui lavorava nel reparto di abbigliamento per bambini di un grande magazzino, chiese a Michael e al fratello Rhett di partecipare a una sfilata.
