Clarkson offered its final degree in domestic science in 1908 and became all-male, teaching chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. Its charter was amended in 1913 and the name changed to the Thomas S. Clarkson Memorial College of Technology.

Biography. Ball studied History and Women Studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She has experience in both the academic and non-profit sectors. Her historical work has focused on Constitutional History and topics in American Gender and Sexuality Studies.
