31 mar 2015 · トム・ジョビンらが中心となって起こしたボサ・ノヴァの黎明期（1959年頃）からブラジルの天才ピアニストとして活躍する ジョアン・ドナート による初のジャズ、ボサ・ノヴァのスタンダード集『 ブルー・ボッサ～スタンダード・コレクション～ 』。 スタン・ケントンに憧れて60年代をアメリカで過ごし、ラテン、ジャズのミュージシャンとの録音、共演を経たドナートは独創的な音楽スタイルを確立、奇才とも天才とも呼ばれる。 今回の作品は彼の生誕80年を節目に企画されたもので、ボサ・ノヴァ、ジャズのスタンダード曲をピアノ・トリオをベースに管楽器を加えた編制で2014年9月にリオデジャネイロで録音。 インストルメンタルのスタンダード集ということで、どなたでも様々な場面のBGMとして楽しめる内容です。
