WEBSTER, Ebenezer, patriot, born in Kingston, New Hampshire, in 1739; died in Salisbury (now Franklin), New Hampshire, in 1806. He served in the old French war under Sir Jeffrey Amherst, and in 1761 was one of the first settlers in what is now Franklin, New Hampshire, then the most northern of the New England settlements.
