Nel 2005 la città di Parigi, in cui vive dal 1987, gli commissionò una piece per la Nuit Blanche, che fu realizzata in quell'occasione, dando vita ad una performance denominata The Crimson Grail che vedeva impegnate 400 chitarre elettriche suonate all'unisono [6] .
