Brace the Wave, Lou Barlow's first new collection of songs since Sebadoh's comeback 2013 LP Defend Yourself, is music for late-night self-reflection, if not quite self-loathing.
Brace The Wave was recorded in six days with Justin Pizzoferrato at Sonelab Studios in Easthampton. All instruments were played by Lou Barlow. The instruments used on this album were 4-string guitar, ukulele, 6-string guitars (both acoustic and electric), electric bass, a "Rhythm Ace" rhythm machine and Lou's Korg "bass Synthe"
