Il secondo e ultimo horror destinato alle sale (dopo Messe nere per le vergini svedesi) realizzato dal regista inglese Ray Austin, in trasferta sudafricana. Un titolo assolutamente fuorviante cela un melodramma dai risvolti modicamente fantastici, sulla falsariga della filmografia Hammer.
