8 ott 2013 · John Oates teamed with Grammy Award winning Americana artist, Jim Lauderdale, for “Close,” the fifth single from his cross-genre journey, Good Road To Follow. The song, which Oates describes as “psychedelic Americana,” will be released on October 15.
John William Oates (born April 7, 1948) is an American musician, best known as half of the rock and soul duo Hall & Oates along with Daryl Hall. He has played rock, R&B, and soul music, serving as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer.
"So Close" is a 1990 song by American pop duo Hall & Oates. It was written by Daryl Hall and George Green, and produced by Danny Kortchmar and Jon Bon Jovi. The song was released as the lead single from the Change of Season album and peaked at number 11 in the United States and number four in Canada.
