The group consists of original band members Porter Howell (lead guitar and lead vocals), Dwayne O’Brien (rhythm guitar and vocals), Duane Propes (bass and vocals) and drummer Del Gray.
After a seven-year hiatus, the group reunited in 2004 when Howell, Duane Propes, Del Gray and Dwayne O’Brien decided to reignite the band, which has been going strong ever since, playing up to 80 shows a year and releasing new music in 2007 and again in 2015. Howell comes by his talent honestly.
Duane Propes of Little Texas spoke with us about his group. Q - Duane, you call the band Little Texas. ZZ Top refers to themselves as that "Little Ole Band From Texas."
