17 apr 2022 · Bob Harvey was the original bassist of the '60s rock band Jefferson Airplane, but he left the band and turned to drugs and alcohol. He later found God, married Joyce, and became a gospel musician.
Sir Bob is a prolific leader in both the arts and politics, having led an advertising agency for many years prior to his mayoralty, working with leading talent and winning numerous awards. He recently published his biography ‘A Life Less Ordinary’.
