The Flanagan Boy (released in the United States as Bad Blonde) is a 1953 British film noir directed by Reginald Le Borg. It was made by Hammer Film Productions and stars Barbara Payton, Tony Wright, Frederick Valk and Sid James. It was based on the 1949 novel of the same name by Max Catto.

The Flanagan Boy (US title: Bad Blonde) is a 1953 noir from Hammer based on the 1949 novel of the same name by Max Catto, though it's fair to say it's quite liberally influenced by The Postman Always Rings Twice.

All of which is brought to a halt when he develops a physical relationship with his manager's wife, the beautiful but manipulative Lorna. His naive temperament is no match for her callous, dispassionate scheming and he unwittingly becomes a pawn in Lorna's ultimate plan... .to murder her husband.
The unreliable Lorna Vecchi has the boxer Johnny Flanagan completely under his thumb. Lorna is married to Johnny's manager Giuseppe. Giuseppe turns out to be a nuisance and Lorna blackmails Johnny to get him to kill her husband.
