Magdalen College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n / MAWD-lin) is a constituent college of the University of Oxford. It was founded in 1458 by Bishop of Winchester William of Waynflete.
Magdalen College will teach out the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic year and has already begun to work with a variety of institutions—including other colleges, our academic accreditation agency (NECHE), and the New Hampshire Department of Education—to ensure a smooth pathway for students to complete their degrees.
It is a lively college with an active and inclusive undergraduate body of about 400 students, who can live in college accommodation for the whole of their course. Alongside its tradition of academic excellence, Magdalen ensures that its students are well supported.
