Later the song appeared on our full length release, "The Deep Red Connection", and was added to their album "Beneath, Between Beyond", but never released as a single. Those of you who are long time fans of Static-X may already know I've had a long time friendship (since 1999) with the band.
Wayne of Static-X, Angel Cat, Mad Lion, Jamalski are a few of the guest vocalist on this album that create a shining mix of musical talent and style that makes the Deep Red Connection an instant favorite of anyone regardess of what section of the CD store they usually shop from.
Mephisto Odyssey did remixes for Los Amigos Invisibles "Mi Linda", Static-X's "Push It" and Soul Coughing's "Rolling" among others. An EP called The Lift which charted in the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart, [5] several singles and an album called The Deep Red Connection followed.
Beneath... Between... Beyond... is composed of previously unreleased tracks, cover versions, and original Static-X demo tracks, dating back as far as 1996. Although the song "Crash" (featured on Mephisto Odyssey's The Deep Red Connection in 2000) is "not completely a Static-X song", Static opted to include it on Beneath... Between...
