29 nov 2023 · Singer-guitarist-songwriter Mike Martt, who died quietly at 11:11 a.m. Tuesday, was one of the most appreciated and loved musicians around, and within hours of his death, postings rushed into social media platforms from all manner of his legion of saddened friends and fans. He was 67.
Mike Martt, who played with Tex and the Horseheads and Thelonious Monster has died. The Huntington Beach-born Martt passed away after a brief illness. He was 65. Raised by a deep sea diver father and a hula dancer mother, over the course of his brilliant career Martt also was a member of The Low and Sweet Orchestra from 1994-1999.
