In 2000, Marky joined Joey to record Joey's solo album, entitled Don't Worry About Me. Joey told talk show host Joe Franklin that Marky was his favorite drummer along with Keith Moon. In 1997 and 1999, Marky recorded two albums with his solo band Marky Ramone and the Intruders.

28 ago 2022 · Storico membro della band più irriverente della scena newyorkese, in questa calda estate Marky Ramone è tornato nuovamente in Italia. Molto legato al nostro territorio, non è difficile riuscire a vederlo in concerto, grintoso più che mai, dietro la batteria.
In 2000, Marky reunited with long time friend Joey Ramone for Joey’s solo effort “Don’t Worry About Me”. In 2001, Marky along with his former band mates (Johnny, Dee Dee and Tommy), were inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
