Joanne Catherall is an English singer who is best known as one of the members of the popular synth-pop band named ‘The Human League.’ Born and raised in Sheffield, Yorkshire, Joanne grew up as a regular young girl with no training in music and no aspirations of making a career in the music industry.
The Human League then evolved into a commercially successful new pop band, with the line-up comprising Oakey, Wright, vocalists Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley, bassist and keyboard player Ian Burden and guitarist and keyboard player Jo Callis.
