CUZ is an indie rock band formed in 2008 featuring Sam Dook of The Go! Team and Mike Watt of Minutemen and fIREHOSE. [1] . Their debut album Tamatebako was released on May 14, 2014. [2] History. The Cuz have nothing but driving guitars and pounding drums that share their vision, their resurrection, of Rock and Roll. With their third studio album under their belts, and having shared the stage with major bands including Kansas, Ryan Adams, and Smashmouth, The Cuz have established themselves as one of the premiere rock bands in the Midwest.
From our latest album, Songs about Girls. Recorded in Madison Wisconsin. We clean up well for our appearance at the Overture Center for the Madison Area Music Awards. Need Someone (to Break My Heart), from our EP, Big. We got together with a couple hundred good friends at High Noon Saloon in Madison for this one.
With such talented and versatile musicians, CUZ Band plays all the hits in the genres of R&B, blues, country, gospel, soul, and even jazz, covering songs from Bobby Bland, Michael Jackson, Prince, Al Green, James Brown, Darius Rucker, Isley Brothers and Bruno Mars, just to name a few.
