The UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television (UCLA TFT), is one of the 12 schools within the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) located in Los Angeles, California.
Located between ocean and mountains, grit and glamour, the Theater Department welcomes students to Los Angeles with a rigorous program combining UCLA’s academic excellence and the School of Theater, Film and Television’s professional school training.
The Department of Film, Television and Digital Media offers admission to the undergraduate major and minor, six Masters of Fine Arts programs, and the M.A. and Ph.D. in Cinema Media Studies. Apply Theater Admissions
For current UCLA students, the Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television is a two-year program for those who have completed two years of general college studies. The Department of Film, Television and Digital Media (FTVDM) admits Change of Major students only once each year for the Fall Quarter.
