1 feb 2007 · Chuck Berry would make it into a million-seller with his version for Chess in 1972, at which time he claimed writer's credits - much to Bartholomew's displeasure! For his early influence on Rock & Roll, Dave Bartholomew was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
