Website. bulkeley .hartfordschools .org. Morgan Gardner Bulkeley High School (known as Bulkeley High School) is a public secondary school on the south side of Hartford, Connecticut. It was founded in 1926 and is part of the Hartford Public Schools district.
The Bulkeley Bridge (also known as Hartford Bridge, Bridge No. 980A) is the oldest of three highway bridges over the Connecticut River between Hartford, Connecticut and East Hartford, Connecticut. A stone arch bridge composed of nine spans, the bridge carries Interstate 84, U.S. Route 6, and U.S. Route 44 across the river.
We have an outstanding year-round sports program with athletic offerings including Football, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, Boys & Girls In and Outdoor Track, Boys and Girls soccer, Girls Swimming & Diving, Girls & Boys Volleyball. Two campuses. One community.

History. Morgan G. Bulkeley. Our school’s namesake was a man whose interests and accomplishments spanned many fields. Besides working at his family business, the Aetna Life Insurance Company, and serving as its president for 44 years, he was a City Councilman, Mayor of Hartford and Governor of Connecticut. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1904.
