The Manchester Grammar School MGS, founded in 1515, admits boys from age nine on academic merit (seven and up from September 2011). We have an international reputation for our outstanding academic achievement backed by terrific pastoral support and a stunning range of extra-curricular activities.
MGS is celebrating another year of outstanding examination results. On 15 August 2019, boys arrived at School to pick up their A-level and Pre-U results. The Pre-U is a challenging alternative to A-level, with its own grading system.
