P.O. Jørgens. Website. ubuprojex .com. Pere Ubu is an American rock group formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1975. The band had a variety of long-term and recurring band members, with singer David Thomas being the only member staying throughout the band's lifetime.
Their first full-length album, Surprise Surprise Surprise, was released in 1987 on Rough Trade Records, by which time Potocsky had been replaced by bassist Steven West. In 1988, Glad came out, consisting of new songs and live tracks (which included a guest appearance by Pere Ubu ).

Pere Ubu è un gruppo musicale statunitense, originario di Cleveland ( Ohio) e formatosi nel 1975 per iniziativa di David Thomas (ex componente dei Rocket from the Tombs) alla voce, e Peter Laughner alla chitarra, poi sostituito nel 1976 da Tom Herman.
