Malcolm Forest Wakeford is a composer, multi instrumentalist, singer, producer and music educator. Originally from London, he is now based in Sydney, Australia. Space & Time is his debut solo album, an eclectic combination of pop and rock songs with socially relevant themes.
Farnham left the group following the completion of their short Australian tour in April 1986, which had Malcolm Wakeford drumming in Prestwich's place. Their ninth studio album, No Reins, recorded when Farnham was still aboard, appeared in the next month and was produced by Richard Dodd. It reached the Kent Music Report top 100.
For a short Australian tour in April 1986, Prestwich was replaced by touring drummer Malcolm Wakeford. However, this would prove to be the final tour with several band members, and the band's last activity for almost two years, as Farnham left in October that year to focus on his solo career.
