All students eligible to attend MGC and who live at least 4.8 km from the school are entitled to school bus transport. The Ministry of Education, through Go Bus, provide bus transport to and from school for those students who are eligible. Marlborough Girls’ College offers a vibrant cultural programme for students. Some of these activities include Junior and Senior Combined Colleges’ productions, Jazz Band, two choirs, itinerant music tuition, Stage Challenge entries and involvement in the National Shakespeare Festival.
Marlborough Girls’ College, Blenheim, provides single sex secondary education to students from a large geographical area. The school roll is becoming increasingly diverse and includes a wide range of ethnic groups. Nearly twenty percent of students identify as Māori and four percent as Pacific.
