Admissions. International Students. We are a diverse school and welcome students from across the world. About 15% of our pupils are from outside of the UK and come from a wide range of countries. Boarding at Freemen's starts from Year 9 (13+) and above. Day places are available from Year 3 (7+).
City of London Freemen’s School was set up to look after the orphaned children of Freemen of the City. The school was founded in Brixton in 1854 to educate boys and girls - we have always been co-educational, it is an essential part of our character, even before that was commonplace.

You can find us in Ashtead in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside, yet only approximately 30 minutes from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, and a 30 minute train journey from Central London. By Road. From the M25 - Exit at Junction 9 (East or West). Follow the signs for Leatherhead and Dorking (A24).
Admissions. Fees. Information about our School fees for academic year 2024-2025 can be found below. The fees are normally reviewed by the Governors on an annual basis and any changes are announced in the summer term. Registration fee. There is a non-refundable registration fee of £200 for all applicants. Deposit.
