  4. Admissions. International Students. We are a diverse school and welcome students from across the world. About 15% of our pupils are from outside of the UK and come from a wide range of countries. Boarding at Freemen's starts from Year 9 (13+) and above. Day places are available from Year 3 (7+).

  5. City of London Freemen’s School was set up to look after the orphaned children of Freemen of the City. The school was founded in Brixton in 1854 to educate boys and girls - we have always been co-educational, it is an essential part of our character, even before that was commonplace.

You can find us in Ashtead in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside, yet only approximately 30 minutes from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, and a 30 minute train journey from Central London.
