They released the EP Pre-Release in 2009, and toured until they again disbanded in 2011. In 2013, the band reformed once again and performed at Slipknot 's Knotfest the next year. In December 2014, Woodruff left Motograter and was replaced with James Anthony Legion.

By 2009 the band was operational again -- though with no original members -- and released an EP, Pre-Release, featuring a lineup that included Michael "Angel" Woodruff (vocals), Matt "Nuke" Nunes (guitar), Tyler Hole (guitar), Mylon Guy (bass), Jeremy "Twitch" Scheller (drums), and Mark Nosler (motograter).
