Luminiferous is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band High on Fire, released on June 23, 2015, through Entertainment One Music. The album was produced by Kurt Ballou who handled production on the band's previous release, De Vermis Mysteriis (2012).

La quintessenza dell ‘heavy metal più pesante ed estremo. Già “The Black Plot”, l’opener, è una dichiarazione di guerra verso chi non ha creduto più nel nome degli High On Fire.
27 ago 2015 · “Luminiferous” è il brano più incazzato del disco, velocissimo e urlato a squarciagola. Chiude il tutto “The Lethal Chamber”, pezzo sludge minaccioso ed interminabile arrivati a questo punto, quasi nove minuti!
2 lug 2015 · Gli High On Fire sono in tre ma dal vivo sembrano 18; suonano una musica che è pura furia, sudore, deserto, fumo e magma contornata dall’inconfondibile voce del disponibilissimo Matt Pike che ha una sigaretta elettronica sull’amplificatore pronta ad essere sfruttata in ogni secondo libero tra un pezzo e l’altro.
