Tonio, Son of the Sierras is a 1925 American silent Western film directed by Ben F. Wilson and starring Wilson, Neva Gerber, Robert Walker and Ruth Royce. It is based on the novel of the same name by Charles King.
Action Adventure Romance. Army Lieutenant Harris (Ben F. Wilson), and Lieut. Willet, stationed at a western army post are both in love with the daughter, Evelyn (Neva Gerber), of the post commander, Colonel Brower (Jim Welch).

'Tonio, be it understood, was of the Apache Mohave tribe, whose hunting grounds had long been the upper Verde and adjacent mountains. 'Tonio had no scruples as to scouting and shooting Chiricahuas and Sierra Blancas or the roving bands of Yaquis that sometimes ventured across the "Gadsden Purchase" from Mexico.
