Indian Summers is a British drama television series that began airing on Channel 4 on 15 February 2015. The show details the events of summers spent at Simla (the summer capital of British India), in the foothills of the Himalayas, by a group of the British governing and trading community at the time of the British Raj.
Indian Summers: Created by Paul Rutman. With Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Jemima West, Julie Walters, Rick Warden. Drama set in 1932 during the final years of British colonial rule in India.

In 1932, Alice Whelan, fleeing a faithless husband in England and passing herself off as a widow, arrives with her baby in Simla, India - where her brother Ralph is private secretary to the Viceroy.
