Elmhurst Ballet School offers ballet training to 11 to 19 year olds. Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, the school has close links with Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Elmhurst is an independent school for classical ballet students aged 11-19 years’ old. Entry to the school is by audition with students joining from Year 7 onwards and graduating after Year 14. In a typical year, 80% of our students receive financial assistance to train with us.

Elmhurst Ballet School is an independent school for professional classical ballet in the United Kingdom. It takes students aged 11–19 years who intend to pursue a career in professional classical ballet.
Your dance training includes daily ballet class, contemporary technique, jazz and choreography, which are delivered by our expert dance team and guest artists. At the same time, you’ll study for your Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance, validated by Trinity College London.
