Metal Discharge is the eighth full-length album by German thrash metal band Destruction, released on September 22, 2003. Il discorso potrebbe anche finire qui, visto che per il resto i contenuti sono rimasti pressoché invariati e ‘Metal Discharge’ resta in piedi comunque, grazie soprattutto a quella manciata di riff impressionanti che sono marchio di garanzia in qualsiasi produzione della band.
In definitiva Metal Discharge è un disco altalenante, ricco di ottime tracce e scorrevole nella sua durata ma al tempo stesso rivela in parte la mancanza di idee che avrebbe colpito la band con Inventor of All Evil.
22 set 2003 · Ritornano a farsi sentire i Destruction e con questo “Metal Discharge” il massacro riprende da dove era finito. Sin dall’iniziale “The Ravenous Beast” i tre thrasher tedeschi non danno respiro, grazie a ritmiche ferratissime ed alla voce del solito Schmier che diventa sempre più cattivo col passare degli anni.
Destruction have been on a killer track record since their reunion with vocalist/bassist Schmier and the writing for Metal Discharge stays in a similar fashion to these newer Destruction records even if the production steps back about 15 years or so. The guitar work is still modern in writing.
