Karen Ellemann Kloch, formerly Karen Ellemann Karabian, (born 26 August 1969 in Charlottenlund) is a Danish politician, who serves as the current Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers. She was previously a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party.

Karen Ellemann is a former Danish politician and minister who became the Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2023. She has also been a member of the Nordic Council and the chair of the Nordic Association in Denmark.

But during the Arctic Frontiers conference in Tromsø, Karen Ellemann repeated that a council of defence ministers is not presently being planned.
