Anne Herbert, Countess of Pembroke, Baroness Herbert of Cardiff (née Parr; 15 June 1515 – 20 February 1552) was lady-in-waiting to each of Henry VIII of England's six wives. She was the younger sister of his sixth wife, Catherine Parr .
19 mag 2016 · Anne Parr would have been witness to the events between Boleyn and King Henry. She was actually very fond of Anne Boleyn and stayed in the new queen’s household when she was crowned in 1533. When Henry VIII had his second wife beheaded and married Jane Seymour, Anne Parr was there.
Perhaps more famously known in contemporary historiography as the younger sister of Katherine Parr, the sixth wife of Henry VIII, Anne Parr has remained a particularly elusive character in terms of research, when compared to her fashionable contemporaries.
