Port Regis School is a co-educational preparatory school located in 140 acres of parkland on the Dorset-Wiltshire border in southern England, situated between the towns of Shaftesbury and Gillingham.
At Port Regis we are passionate about breadth. Alongside the core subjects of English, mathematics and science, each child’s academic experience here will feature languages (at least one modern and at least one ancient), geography, history, and religious studies, leading to formal exams in the Summer Term of the A Form (Year 8).
Following a two-year stay at Gorhambury House near St Albans, Port Regis moved to it's final home, Motcombe Park, in the winter of 1947 - one of the coldest winters on record in the UK. Port Regis School is now synonymous with our 'Mansion' building, known historically as Motcombe House.
