Charles Carroll di Carrollton (Annapolis, 19 settembre 1737 – Baltimora, 14 novembre 1832) è stato un politico statunitense. Dopo rigorosi studi in Francia, nel Collegio inglese di Saint-Omer, ritornò (1765) nel Maryland, ove fu tra i più grandi sostenitori della causa patriottica americana e del generale George Washington.
Charles Carroll (September 19, 1737 – November 14, 1832), known as Charles Carroll of Carrollton or Charles Carroll III, was an American politician, planter, and signatory of the Declaration of Independence. He was the only Catholic signatory of the Declaration and the longest surviving, dying 56 years after its signing.
Charles Carroll was an American patriot leader, the longest- surviving signer of the Declaration of Independence, and the only Roman Catholic to sign that document. Until 1765 Carroll attended Jesuit colleges in Maryland and France and studied law in France and England.
