Salvatore "Robert" Loggia (/ ˈ l oʊ ʒ ə / LOH-zhə, Italian: [salvaˈtoːre ˈlɔddʒa]; January 3, 1930 – December 4, 2015) was an American actor. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Jagged Edge (1985) and won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for Big (1988).

Born and raised in New York City, Robert Loggia studied journalism at the University of Missouri before moving back to New York to pursue acting. He trained at the Actors Studio while doing stage work. From the late 1950s he was a familiar face on TV, usually as authoritative figures.
An American actor often associated with gangster roles, Loggia portrayed men on the wrong side of the law in Scarface (1983), Prizzi’s Honor (1985), Lost Highway (1997) and The Sopranos (2004). His most iconic scene came dancing alongside Tom Hanks in Big (1988), and he received an Oscar nomination for his supporting role in Jagged Edge (1985).
