Rose Hobart (born Rose Kefer; May 1, 1906 – August 29, 2000) was an American actress and a Screen Actors Guild official. Early years [ edit ] Born in New York City, [3] Hobart was the daughter of a cellist in the New York Symphony Orchestra , Paul Kefer, and an opera singer, Marguerite Kefer.
